About the Owner
Catherine Ahearn brings more than 25 years of leadership in healthcare quality, where she successfully guided organizations in developing effective, standardized approaches to excellence. Inspired by her lifelong passion for food and entrepreneurship, Catherine began a new chapter in the culinary world, completing her studies at L’Académie de Cuisine. She later advanced her craft at the prestigious Penn State Ice Cream Short Course (Ice Cream University) in 2020. From this journey, Tysons Creamery was born—now proudly recognized as a National Award-Winning ice cream brand and more recently Virginia Living magazine's Made in Virginia award winner!
